It (Wycombe) was pretty ethnic by the late 70s. Much less so in the early 70s I think.

Wasn't Harlow actually designed to, well, make other population centres better by comparison?
God made men. Sam Colt made them equal.

If you're talking about Brick Lane, that judgement is favourable, judging by the popularity of the up-market new-builds and so on in the immediate environs.

Harlow was designed to accomodate the paupers from the slums of the east end .. bethnal green etc.
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

No you brought race into this - not anybody else. Eastcote is a sh1thole because it's a sh1thole. The place is a dump and the people who live there, black and white, make it that way. As for it supposedly being a nice place in years gone by, judging from the state of the place I would say that it must have been a very long time ago.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

            I preferred version 1!

He waxes and wanes, that CD. He doesn't know what tack to take, moderate or extreme. But deep down, he's a sad man because he can only see the world through one lens.

I’d like to educate you, but I fear it may be a little late for some. Having much experience of debating forums I have noticed that not many will stick their necks out if their views are not the current preachy ones. People don’t like to be called names and have people think badly of them. Others on the other hand are often disingenuous, wishing to appear something they are not, but in all honesty have the same niggling concerns as most of us do. This is often shown on forum discussions vs polls. I am often left on one side of a debate fending off many rabid posters (who attack me rather than discuss the issues), yet when it comes to anonymous polls I find that about 30-40% would for example vote BNP.
