No it's called applying the law in the interest of the people. Don't go into fractions she won't understand.Originally posted by Old Greg'Reeling in', 'Clipping wings' - why don't you just say censorship, it's what you mean.
I was crediting SASguru with powers of creativity to stoop to the level of a quarter-wit.Comment

Nice idea. For a Nazi. Just how would you practically go about this? What kind of legislation and/or oversight would serve to enforce this? I don't think it could be practicable without amending human rights legislation or curtailing (great word that) civil liberties.Originally posted by Causus DeliNo it's called applying the law in the interest of the people.Comment

The law is the law and is applied independently, the law is always in the interest of the people. Simple don't try and be a smart arse. You would do better to discuss using facts and logic instead of being obsessed with me.Originally posted by Old GregWho applies the law and who decides the interest? Do you volunteer?Comment

If the law is the law then it already exists and there' no need to change anything.Originally posted by Causus DeliThe law is the law and is applied independently, the law is always in the interest of the people. I think you've revealed enough about yourself by now for us to know what you'd really like to see.Comment

I'd like the law to be applied here and for it to stop playing numbers games with motorists being persecuted to satisfy numbers targets. I'd like the government to back their own findings when it comes to the state of the nation and damn well do something about it. This is what our country wants, honesty about what a mess we are in and someone to do something about it.Originally posted by Old GregI think you've revealed enough about yourself by now for us to know what you'd really like to see.Comment
