I'm starting to dislike this lark it doesn't excite me any more, if I could earn the same money making aircraft parts (like I used to) I would, there’s something satisfying about making a physical product then standing back and saying "I made that", I do support work and though fixing peoples problems does have a certain satisfaction it's just not the same.

Do coders/developers get a sense of achievement when they deliver a working project or do they also feel a bit empty? Just interested on peoples thoughts.

Self-employment and an indecent amount of dosh keeps me barely sane but I utterly loath, despise and hate the cretinous pantomine of 'Financial Sector' IT.
