no, if you have got 100 contracts and 4 contractors, they get 25 each
      (100/4) = 25
If you have 100 pairs of boobs and zero contractors, they get zero boobs each. Nothing indeterminate about it
mind you, theres none of em to get nothing, so i might be wrong

Zero doesn't exist...therefore it is not infinity or anything else...

If you were to divide 1000000000/0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000001 then you might get infinity as there is not a number big enough to provide the answer

Surely 1/0 is infinity? Infinity is indeterminate after all.

Nice to have a thread about something decent for once. Can we have more of these please? Maybe I should start a thread called "why is the sky blue" or "why does it only take a short while to go dark after sun goes down"

When dividing 1/0 mathematicians use the concept of infinity even though it is indeterminate.

Same as the square root of -1 is i, therefore i^2 = -1.

                Any idiot knows that.

                Complex conjugate anyone.

Whatever happened to that new integer they discovered, announced on World News a while back? They believed it was somewhere between 26 and 27.

No they don't. They would say '1/0' is meaningless.

It is not indeterminate...my morning coffee has sparked my brain in to life and I now have the answer...it is not infinity and so far the correct answer has not been stated on this thread...

Thats the problem with you IT folk...you over-complicate everything when in fact the answer is staring straight in the face...

And by the way...how many of you have tried doing the sum in excel? Losers!
