Btw, Bauer and Cottrell offer a 'technical arguments' service for £1500. Not sure what it involves, but I guess it involves them fighting your corner, and they are very successful...

Did you manage to sort it out?
The quote (if i remember correctly) was £5000 to take it through to the Commisioners although mine was fully covered by Insurance the Revenue gave up after 2 years and an extended exchange of letters
