No. Some scrote tried (and failed) to break into my garage so I spent 2 days repairing and shoreing up.

I did get out for a day on my KTM though, which was nice.

Built fence with neighbour - who was going to build it without a level, a measuring tape, a proper drill, proper nails, any carpentry experience. I went out to investigate the banging and found:
        - two posts which were waaayy off plumb
        - no idea how to fix the fence to the house
        - a complete buffoon at using a hammer

I had to guide him and did a lot of the work. He also said he'd help with the painting....but he never showed up. I did my side and most of his too. B&&tard

I missed my little one who is still on holiday with mom...who knows when he'll be back. Tried the relatives on Monday but none of the them was home. Watched Prison Break and wondered "who writes this crap" - the 1st season was so good. sigh.

You're lucky - we got broke into last Good Friday and got totally wiped out. They took absolutely everything (including 4 laptops - they must've thought it was Xmas!)

Not a bad break all in all.

              1. Survived my daughters' 16th (incl. 5 of her friends sleeping over and monopolising the entire ground floor of the house).

              2. Bought a new telly.

              3. Hacked the last 6 months of growth from the garden (I knew there was a path there!)

              4. Even found time to spend a couple of hours skating with my lad.

Back down to earth with a bump.

Couldn't be bothered to do any gardening. So I found a gardener to cut my grass. After 2 hrs the lawn was looking great and my wallet was only £20 lighter. To be honest if someone gave me £20 to do 2hrs gardening I'd tell them to sod off so I think that's a pretty good deal.
This weekend taking the car to get cleaned - another £10. Sit in reception for 15mins watching sky sports while I wait. Sorted.
Just need someone to wipe my bum now everytime I go to the toilet.

I had a lovely long weekend.
Did lots of shopping – only the must have things. (Really can’t stand shopping. Honest)
Had family down which is always nice.
And by far the best, my sister gave birth to the most gorgeous little boy on Saturday morning. First baby in the family so no doubt he’s going to be a spoilt little thing!

Nope. It did however take me 3 hours to get from the M25 (J9 or 10) to Croydon and back to the M25
