Please direct me to a free bank that I wont incur ANY charges whatsoever?
You'll be lucky NS. You will find that bagpuss does this a lot, opens his mouth and lets his stomach rumble. No real substance to what he posts. Most people filter his junk out, I only include him in order to take the piss out of him.
Not much of a challenge either.
“The period of the disintegration of the European Union has begun. And the first vessel to have departed is Britain”
I sent off three letters yesterday which relate to our 3 accounts and between them they total about 6k of charges and interest.
JEESUS - Thats a grand a year in late payemnt fees (or put another way about 4 penalties a month for the past six years). How f@cking bad do you have to be with money to be this stupid.
When people run their accounts with such disregard for small matters such as actually paying bills and ensuring they have money in the account to make payments they deserve to be hammered.
I actually feel sorry for the banks, they will have only continued to allow you to operate your account because it was commercially viable, if they knew they'd get next to nothing for it they would have foreclosed years ago as you sir are a liability.
Why can't people in this bl00dy country take responsibility for their own lives. The charges whilst high can hardly be described as excessive since you do actually have a choice in whether or not you pay them, i.e. you could run your account correctly and then they can't charge you

Don't be silly, people should be compensated for being a moron. SB must be due a very large payout.
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

Well the Financial Regulators regard them as excessive, but then again, they don't spend their entire life in La-La Land with you and your associate gibbon Bagpuss.

That would be LA LA land where you control your finances?
The world's gone mad!

Boredsenseless and Bagpuss this is for you - maybe you'll understand more after this - i was in debt before starting contracting, and was pushed further into debt by "unlwaful" bank charges which made it even harder to get out of debt, thus the cycle started where i was unable to make ends meet monthly, more debt, more bank charges, harder to manage monthly....
Thankfully now im contracting i dont have those problems, however the people most affected by these charges are at the "bottom of the tree" financially and because these charges are unlawful why shouldnt they challenge them.
HSBC actually sent me a letter saying "we want to help you if you are in financial difficulties" so i phoned them and the only help they gave me was a £100 penalty for the overdraft and a stern manager!!
Once more pissbag reveals his tit/tosser credentials.
Most people knew what they would have to pay when they opened a bank account. Most continued to pay their bank charges as agreed when they opened their accounts. No problems just getting on with it and paying their costs.
Suddenly these same people are told that the banks charges were excessive and these same people are entitled to their money back.
It is not the customers who are/were at fault here. Nobody has said that banks are not entitled to charge for provided services, even to recover costs.
What is quite clear (except obviously to the slow witted cloth cat in hte corner) is that the banks have been charging way over the odds, have not been self regulating and are now having to face the consequences.
BTW. why would a grown man on an internet forum use a much loved childrens icon as an avatar? Something you want to tell us pissy?
I am not qualified to give the above advice!

Step back, have a think and adjust my own own attitude from time to time

You lost another arguement so you have it in for me, your MO is to post insults, if you don't have anything to add then PM me and I'll let you know how we can sort this offline. Until then there is no point responding to someone as pathetic as you.
