For the interview itself you may find it is similar to a permy one, it all depends on the client.
Yup, I've had a contract with no interview, just an email saying start on monday, and at the opposite extreme a ridiculous two hour marathon "permie" interview for a three month contract at Pfizer in Kent - And at the end, the lady said "Well you seem quite suitable, but we'd have to ask you back for a second interview before deciding". (I didn't pursue that one.)
there are lot easier i had mine on monday morning at 10am got a phone call at 11am offering me the job and should have the contract signed and sent back to them by the end of the day tomoz.....

Well I didnt get it, they said they thought I was easily good enough technically etc etc but it was between me and the other guy and I just wasnt enthusiastic enough
OK maybe I wasnt but to be honest didnt think that was a major setback when its for a contract for only 3 months, oh well you live and learn next time Ill get well excited!

er maybe, but I would tend to think a permie role is more one to show enthusiasm and excitement. Maybe I was just to matter of fact, but as I said you live and learn.
