Tax - he would be an unusual president if he did pay tax.

He is unusual in that his unpaid tax amounts will be enough to put somebody into jail for the rest of life - US laws are pretty tough on tax evasion and he can't hide behind his accountants - he is liable personally for his tax returned.

I wasn't sure before, but now he certainly will be pursued - most of Rep party elite would want this to happen to get him out of picture for 2024, Senate is democratic now so commitees there can do investigations AND declassify stuff if necessary to nail the fooker.

Inciting riot and insurrection is one allegation/ It would need to be tested in court. Plenty of senior Republicans agree.

Senator Mitt Romney of Utah stated, "What happened at the U.S. Capitol today was an insurrection, incited by the President of the United States" and part of "an unprecedented attack on our democracy".^[211] Senator Ben Sasse of Nebraska said, "This violence was the inevitable and ugly outcome of the president's addiction to constantly stoking division."^[212] Senator Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania took to the Senate floor to say, "We saw bloodshed because a demagogue chose to spread falsehoods and sow distrust of his own fellow Americans."^[213] Senator Richard Burr of North Carolina said, "The President bears responsibility for today's events by promoting the unfounded conspiracy theories that have led to this point."^[214] Senator Ted Cruz condemned the protest and said, "Violence is always unacceptable. Even when passions run high. Anyone engaged in violence—especially against law enforcement—should be fully prosecuted."^[215] Cruz himself was urged to resign by Democratic politicians, who criticized him for helping to instigate the riots.^[216]
