It’s enough that most tory mps buy it. Nothing was going to stop it rumbling on for days. Barnard Castle explanation was a crock of tulip though.
If you're worried about your bleeding eyesight, you don't drive 30 miles to a beauty spot on your wife's birthday; you start your journey back to London and turn around if necessary. It's blindingly obvious that he broke the spirit of the rules, their purpose, what parliament intended, regardless of any sub-clauses that are vaguely favourable to his interpretation. Still, reckon he'll cling on. Probably.
