While I was killing some time before getting my hair cut I saw a copy of The Eight Legged Groove Machine by The Wonder Stuff. My copy was on cassette and I have no idea where it is now so thought I'll have that.

It is actually a 20th Anniversary version and has been re-recorded, there was no need for that. Nothing is radically different but it does sound more polished than the original, which for me is synonymous with London at the end of the 1980s.

Still, I haven't heard it for years and have sung along with every word which shows how much I used to listen to it twenty two years ago or so.
