Likewise. The Stockpot was a complete oddity on Kings Road. Stodgy traditional English food for less than a tenner. It had 2 distinct sets of clientele as far as I could see: the council estate inhabitants and tight aristocrats. Sad to see it's no more
There are plenty of places to eat for a reasonable price. Just look further afield than Chelsea
Plenty of cheap places in the Chelsea area. Catering to the council flats off Flood street and the day trippers from Hackney who come for the shopping on the King's Road. Both of which groups are a step above Welsh benefit claimants.
