AMD may well be a solid investment but the 10 year old US stock bull market may be on its last legs. Tech stocks could be hit especially hard in a bear market.

If the Fed does start cutting interest rates, it may give stocks a short-term boost but it's a warning sign that recession may be round the corner.

Of course, this time may be different and recessions & bear markets may be a thing of the past. Good times for ever.
