Leak : AMD Showcasing 16 Core & 12 Core Ryzen 3000 Series CPUs to OEMs

Be funny if the all the new CPU's from AMD have some logic flaw like the original Pentium cpu.

            Share price 90% drop.

Only kidding, I'd take no pleasure in such a thing.

Unlikely - logic is mainly a shrink from Zen 1 rather than some super brand new stuff (like built-in FPU in Pentium was)

Biggest risk IMHO was production problems (it’s a novel design with chiplets) and/or inability to clock 7nm high enough to be competitive - if leaks are true clocks appear to be very good! It meant to be full speed AVX2 as well (unlike Intel that clocks chip down)

Also they should not get too clever or greedy with pricing for server chips - it needs to be a no-brainer at least half price of Intel - this is the biggest risk now, some uncalled for moronic management decision

To me it seems all the good news / rumour is priced in. Reality often fails to live up to hype, and in such a scenario there could be a sharp correction in the share price. Something to consider.

What’s not priced in is takeover by a big firm like Samsung who happen to have advanced fabs, so more margin overall

Hopefully by that point shares will hit 100 bucks

If fabrication is your thing then you should really watch ASML, they are the leaders when it comes to reliability of fabrication manufacturing equipment by a country mile.

It’s too far from final product like high margin server chips
