Seriously considering trying this as a new hobby. Any recommendations?

Get a normal bike and learn to do tricks. All the youth will be impressed with the granddad who can do tricks.

I've been riding unicycles for about 7 years. Started off just for the hell of it but started to get a bit bored once I could actually ride it. Then found out about unicycle hockey and joined my local team and am thoroughlly addicted. Massively challenging, fantastic way to stay fit and an interesting crowd from a diverse background. Unfortunately there's only a hanful of teams in the country.

I do also have an offroad wheel which is a fun way to explore local woods
