Yes, it is very nice in Nice this time of year. My Euro is going reasonably far although probably not as far as the GBP, still not too worry. Just got out of the pool from the evening swim and now for a late meal of rather nice foreign (as in French) food. Just to cheer you up, here's the view from the terrace:

Was wondering when someone was going to point out the obvious.

£1.40 to the euro was not that long ago. Now we're approaching parity. That's almost a 30% drop as the result of the Brexiters combined wth the EU economy now succeeding. And the Tourist blames France. Unbelievable.

from when the Euro came in until about 2006, it was always 1eur = 60p

now it's 1eur = 92p

that's a 50% devaluation of the pound

The Pound was devalued during the "crisis" to the 80p range to the Euro, and now it
is being devalued again.

You can see in the last ten years the Pound has devalued by 50% compared to the Euro.
