    let me guess - your working late entails sitting around waiting for something to happen?/ (i.e. a support monkey??) i.e you are not really working late - work entails doing stuff - and if you are watching DVDs then I don't think this counts as work - however for billing reasons I presume you'd have to call it work !!

      Well thanks for the put-down there, but I'm not a support monkey, as you so eloquently put it...

          WMP requires 3rd party codecs to play DVD content.

          PowerDVD, WinDVD provide full players or you can buy the codecs for WMP.
