Newton's "laws" were found to be an approximation after the Einsteinian revolution, but that revolution provided 2 incompatible models (Relativity and Quantum Theory) which suggest our current physical picture of the universe is incomplete and will be replaced with something else i.e. new facts for old.

If it can't be proven scientifically, than relying on science to define our understanding of what is fact becomes, in fact, religious crap.
