Worst case, you lose 1% of your net worth.
Best case, who knows.
The case for a small allocation to Bitcoin — Kana and Katana
'If you decide to buy Bitcoin simply decide what is the amount of money you can afford to lose (ideally less than 1% of your net worth), deploy it at market and at once and forget about it for 7 to 10 years. I have been giving this advice for 6 years and, by watching what people do with this advice, I can tell you that “Forget about it for 7 to 10 years” is the most difficult part of the simple recipe I am proposing. This lack of discipline destroys a lot more value than you would anticipate. The price volatility rattles people and makes them trade.'Comment

Wait until we have a pull back from the recent run before adding more. 30-40% at best of a pullback."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark TwainComment

I'm excited about this one as a I was when I first learnt about XRP. What Ripple is trying to do to SWIFT in Banking, Dent is doing to mobile data amongst telephone companies but on a global scale.
Ticks the first boxes. Does the idea need blockchain? Yes. Is it a global solution to a global problem? Yes.
DENT Exchange: World-Wide Mobile Data Marketplace
After a little research I decided to put a five figured sum on this one. What a call! 115% in 15 days!!
