How to properly research coins/tokens using freely available resources? Preferably impartial or as close to it as possible.
Steps please. Ta.
As still a comparative newbie I look at Coinmarketcap's top 100 to see the names often mentioned in this thread. There are links to the crypto's primary website and other information.
I use Cryptowatch to see a live picture of price changes.
I use Reddit for Bitcoin, Bitcoin UK, Cryptocurrency, and other coin/token specific sub areas.
I sometime peruse other forums () such as https://bitcointalk.org
I refer to Upfolio's for a summary of the main 100 cryptos.
Most if not all of the above are from other posts in this thread, so cheers for that. Any other resources worth keeping an eye on to help figure out which of the alts are not scams and may have a genuine future rather than a short term speculative play?
So far I've not spent much time watching any of the YouTube videos as there are so many shills, whales, or just dicks promoting one thing or another that I can't help think none are truly impartial and have a vested interest in pumping something or other. Any YouTube channels you trust enough to spend your precious time watching?Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down. Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.Comment

Revolut crypto is apparently using Coinbase from what I've read (chagring 1.5% commission on each purchase/sale), so Revolut have a wallet but don't currently let you transfer to your own. Anyone heard if that is proposed for the future? Would be handy to have another route.
