Is binance performing any better these days?
Used to be shockingly slow when volume went into a market.
I have CND on there but don't check it that often. I believe they did a recent upgrade of systems

Not had an issue but is the largest exchange I'm on so can't really compare it with anything else.

Curtains for all if everyone sells or DApp hacked (stack overflow attacks etc).

Well every one was a loser on the first version of the contract. They left an amateur exploit and some one pinched the lot

I'll be happy if my alts finally get back into the green.

Same here my coin accumulation strategy is about -1.25 BTC at the moment. I think if we establish an overall bull trend and this correction is over then alts will rally again. Current correction was needed and also the government regulation uncertainty is going away now they are starting to lay their cards on the table.

There is also a lot of quiet big money/institutional adoption happening while we're down at these low levels. Also fully aware that a lot of alts will not make it in the long term so speculating on them is risky business.

I'm completely ready for this Spring/Summer rally to happen!

Some of them, yes.
I think in some cases it needs to be accepted that with the best bull run in the world you'll only break even on some of them before the summer.
Make sure you set your plan and your exit points (based on current prices rather than when you got in) and then re-enter in the autumn to try and really make some cash
