    That's what the mainstream media tells you. But from what i can see, given that normally black etc almost all vote democrat anyway, he has vey substantial support from black people & hispanics. At least, from my perspective. More and more black people are starting to realise that the Dems are cultivating their victimhood for votes. They're saying 'Wake up - get off the democrat plantation' (literally). And legal hispanics are tired of illegals giving them a bad name, driving down their wages, and jumping the queue that they had to go through.

    We're not talking enormous percentages, but as far as i can tell it's significant.

    Anyway the US constitution is carefully constructed to limit the power of the President. So if the Senate, Congress and States don't agree with the President nothing gets passed. This is why Obama has managed to achieve SFA.
    I posted somewhere else that this isn't about governance - it's a movement rooted in culture war. Win or lose I honesty think this Trump phenomenon will have done the US so much good. Obviously a functioning government will be nice too o.O
