If you can filter out stuff that you actually like, get a 2Gb 2nd gen iPod nano which works perfectly and only cost £99.

Or 65 notes from the apple refurbished store (if they have any left)...

Don't waste good money on an iPod. Just hum your favourite tunes to yourself whilst on the move.
