We need Corbyn to come in and clean up this mess to be honest.

Cut corp tax ! What nonsense. Corbyn advocates a high tax, high spend economy and I actually agree with him. Increase corp tax to 35% and increase VAT to 35%. Borrow when money is cheap and fund some mega projects in infrastructure, build hospitals and invest in the NHS.

After years of Tories what have we got ? Nowt. Just let Corbyn come in, he will leave a massive legacy behind and make this country great again.
Vote Corbyn ! Save this country !

Increasing VAT to 25% would have been correct action (let people decide what they buy with their money and cut income tax), but Korbyn will prefer to cut VAT and increase income and other taxes as well.

He won't win next elections though, not with his losers attitude.

I still haven't figured out whether you are being serious or not.

Countries don't trade with each other.

Companies trade with companies and companies trade with consumers.

The EU might want to increase the cost of exports to the EU from the UK but then the UK would simply increase the cost of imports from the EU. What would be the net result? Unemployment in both the EU and UK.

The consumers and companies who want to trade with each other will find a way.

Exactly. That is the bottom line.

It's the countries that set tariffs, not consumers or companies that import stuff.

For example EU can introduce transaction tax on EUR transations, this would hit the City big time.

Yes they could. They could do things to damage the long-term relationship with the UK. Their biggest trading partner and a key provider to the defence of Europe.

                It's a political decision.

I admire the German politician who is going to face unemployed car workers in Germany and say "Sorry, but you have to suffer because the French want to make a political point with the English".

                  .
You're thick as mince since you don't understand how tariffs work and you (seriously?) think that tariffs will lead to the EU hurting more than the UK.
