He wasn't around for the vote on the Iraq war so the likes of Momentum (the SWP) can't use it against him and call him a Blairite.

I think they prefer "Taffia", but he's already been referred to as Blair-lite by Momentum On the Iraq war, he now says, conveniently, that he wouldn't have voted for it, but he was quoted as being unsure in interviews ~10 years ago.

It's all completely irrelevant though. He won't win. If he does win, he won't become PM. Labour are properly fecked. The old saying about a week being a long time in politics: not for Labour, it's going to take a generation or more (possibly never again, unless they can turn it around in Scootlandia).

You may be confusing him with Owen Jones, who is not an MP, but does have a Grauniad column which is perfect for bulimics - the easiest way to bring up one's breakfast. As an alternative to choking on it, believe me, chucking up is slightly easier.
