Maybe if we pooled all our savings ......
We could indeed try and chase an already dead technology over the cliff

Or we could set the scene for what comes next. We already know that lots of little humans jumping in transport every day to sit on a computer is not going to help our planet if you believe in global warming so what comes next?

How do you know this is not what I wanted to achieve?

There are 2 choices just as there always were:

        1. Free market = Free Movement of people
        2. No free market = slow haemorrage of the economy

Anyone who told you any thing else is a liar.
        And time will tell .....
Canada and Singapore are on the verge of signing free trade agreements with the EU with no free movement of people. Lichtenstein has single market access and an opt out of free movement.

In which case don't complain that you are seriously sick and tired of hearing all the crying and whining and doom saying that is going on right now.

That's fantastic news, PG! Does the Canada deal agree a free market for financial services?

Brexiters voted to leave. We don't have to like it, but it's true.

London is the economic powerhouse of the U.K. You don't have to like it, but it's true.

At least three regions that voted "Out" are petitioning the Govt to continue sending them millions of pounds. Why don't they get off their fat arses and start manufacturing something, like you've suggested?

Oh I see. You're going for the Lichtenstein/small population model.
Shrink your population down to a few thousand then claim they would be overwhelmed if free movement was allowed.
Or is it the Canadian model where financial services are excluded?
Both models are much clearer than your glorious leaders have put forward, I suppose.
