Saved you the hassle: Looking ahead - 2014-2019 | Elections 2014 | European Parliament“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.” -
Unfortunately though, thickos are allowed to vote in the referendum, and there's a lot of thickos in the Brexit camp, just look on here....Originally posted by darmstadt View PostI think it's pretty damn obvious really, you already know what the EU are doing and a bit of research will show what is going to happen whereas if you look at the Leave lot, each of the 3 groups says something different because no-one knows what will happen. We will not longer be part of the 4th Reich.Originally posted by cojak View PostMr C is waiting to hear the BREexit camp proactively explain the positives of leaving the EU, instead of just defending themselves against the Pro-EU campaigners.
BRExit isn't having a very good campaign at the moment.

Oh gee thanks. We get to choose 73 UK MEPs. Out of 751.Originally posted by darmstadt View PostSaved you the hassle: Looking ahead - 2014-2019 | Elections 2014 | European Parliament
I've heard something about an EU President though? I must have been on holiday when he was elected.
And what's this 'EU Commission' ? Someone said they were the unelected bureaucrats who run the EU? Obviously this is just lies spread by dirty troublemakers but is there some truth behind it?Comment

And it seems they lie as well. If you listened to Farage on Radio 4 Any Questions he claimed that Norway makes no contributions to the EU (though he acknowledged it voluntarily makes some donations to poorer EU member states) and that it incorporates only a small number of EU regulations into its law. This in fact an outright lie and can be seen what they do contribute in this document: Committee presents review of Norway’s agreements with the EU
How much they contribute: Norway's financial contribution“All 17 ministries work with EU/EEA matters, and so do most of the subordinate agencies and all 429 municipalities, much of whose work deals with EEA-related matters. EU law has been incorporated to some extent into around 170 of a total of 600 Norwegian statutes and approximately 1 000 Norwegian regulations.
Norway’s association with the EU has implications at all levels, from matters affecting daily life (vehicle inspections, the working environment, food quality) to major structural issues (the common labour market and the financial market), as well as the balance of power between the Storting(parliament), the Government and the courts, politicians and civil servants, the capital and the regions, employers and employees, etc.”
Per capita, Norway pays under its EU agreements roughly what the UK does.“Norway’s financial contributions include funding to reduce disparities in Europe and contributions to the budget of EU programmes and agencies we participate in.”
It does matter though as the imbecilic Brexiters due to blind ignorance will lap any and all lies as it conforms to their bigoted prejudices...“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment
