I think this would be a bad idea. Not from the perspective that the salary is lower, but more from the premise you have no basic mathematical skills whatsoever to be able to work that out.

I think the OP was more about what the salary was worth, what will it get you in this country, more specifically in that region. Your response is a little unfair.

OK in London, not a fantastic salary. In Rotherham for instance it will probably go a lot further, property prices being what they are.

In Romania, he'd be able to live like a King. I could see what he was asking even if you missed the point.

Keep posting on this forum, where you can develop your English skills without leaving home -there are plenty of pedants who love to point out spelling and grammatical errors

Throw some French into the conversation, call us Les Rosbifs, give us a continental perspective on Brexit, talk about Rugby etc.. it's all good stuff

We do it for the Eastern European, Russian, Bob posters etc
