Feel free. You know all those movie court cases where the expert witness carefully states that 'the injuries are consistent with a blow to the back of the head with a blunt instrument'?
This weather is consistent with a climate system perturbed by an enhanced greenhouse effect.
Expect more of the same and then some more.
Oh, and expect certain quarters to claim the extreme rainfall numbers are merely a consequence of new rain gauges in wet places.

The lashings of rain that have caused widespread flooding across northern parts of Britain made the final month of 2015 the second wettest December in more than 100 years, the Met Office has confirmed.
Across the the country, an average of 211mm of rain fell during the month. Only December 1929 was wetter, with 213mm of rain. Scotland and Wales both had their wettest December since 1910, the earliest year on record – 333.1mm and 321mm respectively.

This weather *might* consistent with a climate system perturbed by an enhanced greenhouse effect.
Nobody knows. Though there is money to be made out of guessing.
