Why aren't they just getting a car rental/ferry and pop off to another airport?
Or fly to a connecting country, why hang around, this is what credit cards are for?Comment

I would not compare hotspots such as Egypt, Israel, Turkey etc with France, Italy etc. You are right that terrorism can strike anywhere but you take calculated risks.Originally posted by vetran View PostThats France, Italy & the US out of the running then ...."The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. Re the car option, I think they've rather boxed themselves into a corner with their dubious choice of destination.Originally posted by Dallas View PostWhy aren't they just getting a car rental/ferry and pop off to another airport?

Issue here is that DC let the terrorists win. He could have arranged to fly everyone home.
Anyway what is wrong with Bognor? I like Bognor! If the weather is nice....Comment

Even Spain has it's issues with some wanting to relive the days of the Moors, I wouldn't assume it is safe thereOriginally posted by Waldorf View PostI would not visit a country so close to terrorist activity, in fact I would avoid the whole Middle East. So if you choose to visit these places do not be surprised if you find yourself caught out by events. Stick to Spain or the Canaries next time.Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.
No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.Comment

I never really felt safe in Sharm el-Sheikh when I went to be honest and that was 5 years back, the health and safety at the local water park was shocking.
I got Paraohs revenge the second to last day exploding bowels ....
Also one of the street sellers yelled at me "you are a very lucky man", so I turned round to him to see why and he said "because you have a very beautiful daughter" .... when it in fact she was my gf lolI like big butts and I cannot lie.Comment
