              I've never bothered with American Express, because they're not as widely accepted as Visa and Mastercard. Businesses don't like taking them because they charge more.

              However for that sort of cashback, I'm tempted.

              Edit: No I'm not, after the introductory period is over my Morgan Stanley platinum is better, at my level of spending.

                Just confirmed over the phone 3% Cash back for 3 months. Then 1.5%. Unlimited. No Charge and they gave me a huge balance.

                Balance xfer by invitation only.

                      I spend around 100k a year on credit cards. Needless to say cash back then comes into it's own.
