This has been calibrated with a random selection of Suity's posts.

Very useful when people are shouting their mouths off about their rates.

      ....

I have never once in almost 30 years shared the rate or the money with anyone but HMRC and the agent.

If it was calibrated with a Suity me, me post, shouldn't the dial be hovering within a hairsbreadth of zero for any other post?

I had no problem telling people apart from those at the client site.

The first rule of rate, you don't talk about rate
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

Only her eyes were wide? That makes a change.

Not generally, but I don't really have a problem with discussing it with other contractors in a similar role - always good to get a sanity check.

I think that's a bad idea. If you happen to be on a good rate and they are being screwed, some of them will think nothing of bursting through a hiring managers door and say "MS just told me her rate, what's going on, you told me everyone is on a similar rate? You lying turd. Thank goodness for honest people like MS!".

Which one of you won't be renewed?

I don't have a daily rate, so I cannot boast about it. But if I was to calculate it & turn it into a daily rate based on how contractors do it, it would be 3000 per day.
