Yeah I think the main difference is willing participation against forced sexual servitude.

Given that they have gone of their own volition, I would suggest that they will learn of their folly once faced with the line of Virgin seekers looking to empty their ammo pouches...

Sadly, the UK taxpayer will have to maintain them and the progeny that result, should they ever return.
I was an IPSE Consultative Council Member, until the BoD abolished it. I am not an IPSE Member, since they have no longer have any relevance to me, as an IT Contractor. Read my lips...I recommend QDOS for ALL your Insurance requirements (Contact me for a referral code).

scraping the cash together, planning the route, booking the flights, arranging transport. hotels, stopovers.

yet a 15 year old managed it without any seeming difficulty
Who said they did it all themselves, perhaps some nice man arranged it all for them? Paid for flights, pick up at airport, bribes at the border, double rooms at Hotel Jihadi?

I made some bloody stupid decisions when I was 15. The worst things that happened to me were a few bad hangovers and a moderately bad kicking from some chavs. These silly girls have made a stupid decision but the consequences for them could be horrendous. I amazed anyone on here finds it funny or a good thing.
I'm not even an atheist so much as I am an antitheist; I not only maintain that all religions are versions of the same untruth, but I hold that the influence of churches, and the effect of religious belief, is positively harmful. [Christopher Hitchens]

No one actually finds it funny - but the majority on here are so bored and disinterested that it comes across as a bit blasé

in generally they have made their (metaphorical and possible literal) bed and they know need to lie in it - we have been told we are not allowed to question their religion or their teachings and so we are simply sitting back and letting them reap the benefits.

Pretty much. Plus they've headed willingly to join a known terrorist organisation that has, in effect, declared open war upon the British nation and our way of life.
My sympathy is limited to their families and the depth of that is limited as they are responsible for their education and religious indoctrination that's led to this behaviour.

Its not funny, there is always the possibility they will come home radicalised and try and blow themselves up Four Lions style
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.
