It looks as though the PCG membership is equivalent to PCG Plus which is worth more than £20 a month and also includes Public and Employer's Liability Insurance. Looks like a fair deal to me.

Why do people insist on trashing something when they haven't bothered to read and understand the full facts. I'm talking about the original poster here.

The Parasol fee through PCG is £40 A WEEK, so, the PCG membership works out at say £5 a week, leaving £35 a week in fees, compared with I think £15 a week if you go direct to Parasol.
P.S. What Spreadsheet? Revolutionising the contracting market again.

Or £79.95 a month, which obviously a much better deal. Looking at the details, it still doesn't seem like a bad deal to me given what else is included.

Well, it includes standard PCG membership, which is about £10 a month. So, it still compares £70 a month as against £55 a month if you went direct to Parasol.

Also, I can't see the benefit of PCG membership to someone with an umbrella Co. The majority of people I think join the PCG predominantly for the insurance products, most of which (IR35, S660 issues) would not apply to umbrella people.
