    Didn't really want to get one that's plumbed in but seems that the non-plubmed in ones only offer cool water, no ice

      ...until the water solenoid goes or the ice maker goes or the lines get frozen etc etc.

      just after the 3 years warranty - very, very, expensive fixes.

      After 3 years of having one, I would say don't bother - not that much bigger for the cost and the depth of the fridge is a pain.
