My point is that the whole system is wrong: it should not cost more to travel 90 minutes from Brum to London than to fly for the same time to some European town, it is bollox and those cheap single tickets that I got is the sure sign of it.
btw, talking of London - there are cheap trains that go through High Wycombe arriving to Marylbone - this route seems a lot cheaper. If you travel a lot to London then you might as well rent some hole to sleep over rather than commute every day at this kind of prices.
