If you gave up all your references before an offer then I suggest in future you don't.

They invited me for a face to face ‘interview’ with one of their ‘industry specialist consultants’ some years back and got 3 valuable references!. These guys are the worst recruitment crooks. Never got any genuine call or interview from them.

So definitely one to avoid. In general never attend any interviews with agents, its absolute waste of time & money.
