Ditto, except mine is 36% up, over the last 3 years, as a %age of inital rate.Originally posted by rd409 View PostIt really depends on what you do as a contractor, I guess. My rates have gone up 30% in last 3 years, so can't really say the rates suck. Remember as an expert you have to keep on upskilling yourself. You cannot rely on your present skill set to enable you charging the same rates over and over again.

I've found that some of the higher paid roles have now been appearing almost exclusively on jobserve, whereas CW and ITJB used to be better. Maybe it's just my part of the market.Comment

I think the market is trying its luck at the moment.Pre Christmas most of the stuff I was seeing was 550+ at the moment it's 400 to 450 although I am in for two 500 a day roles and one at 600. So there is stuff there.Comment

Think this reflects spot on what I have seen, although a lot more of the £400 than the £550.Originally posted by bobspud View PostI think the market is trying its luck at the moment.Pre Christmas most of the stuff I was seeing was 550+ at the moment it's 400 to 450 although I am in for two 500 a day roles and one at 600.
