The SE is happy to direct contract and not bother with agencies.

Also I've just quoted short fixed price project with a CCG.

I agree it's unlikely the agency will understand the structure.. to be honest it takes me 10 minutes to explain to Joe Public the new structure!

Great - I wish the social enterprise I am working at currently saw things the same way.

They've done quite a few on directs, I assume they see no benefits with agencies.
