Has anybody else experienced this sort of thing with Barclays ?
Spoke to an agent today about a London based role at Barclays, exactly the same terms. Agent said it was the Barclays 'take it or leave ot approach' Was also asked to sign opt out form now and provide 2 refs by the agency.

Role does sound good and the above would not stop me taking it, except I am just accepting extension to current contract as per posting yesterday.

I'd still love to go back, though I doubt it'll be as good as last time having accumulated some "wife and kids" baggage now
Seems to be a bit like that - but in typical fashion all the Contractors here seems to be new or slightly used models and as such are a bit unaware so just plod on with the job in hand.

Make no mistake though it is the best setting for a gig I've ever had
      Permietractor (probably)
