Then again, a look at this post shows him up as the piece of crap that he can be.

    Anyway,

I can't believe he still has us talking about him, and I started it.

Currrently on 2 contracts. One based in sunny Nottingham.

The other based in Spain, Italy, France and Netherlands. Change between the two. Not a bad little racket really.

I could be wrong but I don't think that lorry driving was what he had in mind.

I did that back in the 90's. Currently in Sydney, going to do the same thing starting next year, so I'll see you all back in London in June 2011.

BTW, article in the Sydney Morning Herald today about jobs boom in Oz, 1000 new jobs a day, mostly in service and ITC. With corresponding pressure on rates.

And God it's been sunny and hot here lately. Get that visa...

Rates are half what you would get in the UK and prices are about the same as the UK. When I first visited ten years ago it was cheap, cheap, cheap here but that is not the case any more.
              From Sydney:

unseasonal rain here today but yesterday was so hot I had to wander down the beach after work for a swim.

Rates here around AU$600/day not a problem and thats 366 quid at todays exhange. And it's still waaaaaay cheaper than UK

I've been in the south of France for a year or so but never get contract work here (Employment laws in favour of the employee make the contract market Very difficult) it exists but very difficult to get work here from talking to friends here Italy/Monaco/Spain are very much the same
Normally 5 year degree in same discipline as the role your applying for irrespective of experience, and second language is pretty much mandatory otherwise the roles don't really fund the cost of living here.

                      +1 for Oz.

I landed a gig in Melbourne and can't say a bad word.
The travel is a bit of a pain though.
