Thanks for the offer of confusion abetted by conflict and more confusion!

To be more serious that is really nice of you, but there are a few complications to it, so I wouldn't be comfortable posting it all.

I think I probably need to get some legal advice.

Someone suggested the NHS helpline earlier and I guess that post was removed?! But after I had already responded to it. So no I am not demanding pills for my contract problem (darn, shoulda quoted).

If you need advice about the content of your contract with regard to IR35 then there are legal firms that will review it for you for a fixed fee (e.g. Bauer and Cottrell).

If you need legal advice about terms in your contract then, if you are a PCG member you could ring the legal helpline. If you need more than this or you're not a member of the PCG you could contact roger sinclair at egos - I don't think he's cheap mind, but he will give you an idea how much whatever you need will cost.

Feel free to PM me if you think I can help further.

Thanks for the replies people -

I'm not worried about IR35 as I have other contracts on the go and need to use my own tools to do the job anyway.

I just find it interesting that I've never had to:

        1) Sign a NDA
        2) I could walk off site ignoring IP having seen processes and design ideas I could claim as my own.
        3) Any new process I come up with is mine the way I see it

        The list goes on.. .

Having read what has been said though I believe I'm now happy to operate without a contract on this one.

He had asked a question in another thread, but put a response in this one by accident.

Haha no we're definitely not the same. I registered here yonks ago when I thought I would be contracting, but I pussyfooted out at the time and stayed PAYE.

We're evidently both a bit confused about contracts or lack thereof but have different problems. Although he's welcome to join in here if he wants to
