If he really was a permie, made to go contract and then fired - so that the company could avoid redundancy, he really is entitled to a significant payoff. (way more that the minimum redundancy amounts that should be payable).
£10k - £20K is quite possible in this case. He simply need to contact his CAB who will put him in touch with a solicitor well versed in employment laws. Go for it.Comment
