As with all these things, it depends on the client. If the role is in the financial sector, then they will probably look very closely at this since it could tempt you (in their potential opinion) to find ways to extract money unnoticed by them or defraud them in some way.

SC Clearance and bad debts

I wouldn't worry about it - since the original post by me i've been cleared, and that was with 7 defaults and around 12k of bad debts.
Just be very honest and give brief acurate details, think i said i'd just overextended myself on credit, which is all that happened really.

Thanks for all your replies, have got the job now about to go through clearance.
Anyone actually have an IVA and tried for clearance?
Keep hearing mixed things.
Have checked my credit report online and will put down as many facts as possible.
A lot hinges on this for me.
