I'm quite impressed with Modis. Paid within 10 days of billing and they send you a text to say they've received your timesheet. Even the agent I've spoken to has been really quite pleasant.ǝןqqıʍComment

Yep, Pathway who I work for, although they do ass rape you on the percentage, but they pay like clockwork. They've got an on line timesheet that the client approves with an email you don't even post or fax anything.Originally posted by MrMark View PostYou get paid within 7 days of invoicing? That's really cool. Any other agencies manage that? Some people are like slinkys, totally pointless but the thought of pushing them down a flight of stairs never fails to put a smile on your face.Comment

Off on a slight tangent ....
Who can recommend any agencies that are known to write good "IR35 pass" contracts ?Comment

Yes I can second G2, pay on the Friday every week for a year providing timesheet is received before Monday pm.
On the subject of taking a large cut.....yes its also true. They take 30% on my gig but I am entirely happy with my rate so should I really care.
The only downside I could say were when my contract was ending they said they had loads of other work but that was bulltulip!!
Also they kept my last pay check for an extra week - claimed it was company policy as a contractor had stolen some laptops off a client so were keeping my money just in case. If this was true it was a liberty but it was more to do with them thinking the client was engaging me directly so were keeping my money until I prooved otherwise.....in my own opinion!!
The client did want to engage me directly but were quoted nearly £20,000 to release me from not being allowed onsite within 12 months of leaving G2.

Career Plus.
From what I can gather he's a one man show and more permanent than contract, but he's very good and a decent bloke to boot by far the best agent I've dealt with.Comment

Badenoch and Clark - Timesheet in on Fri, they text me on Saturday to say they have it, and pay in the bank on Thursday
