    My understanding is that you pay tax in Ireland for work done in Ireland and you will need a PPSN. You could phone Revenue and ask.

    Lots of UK guys ignore it and appear to get away with it.

    If you do set up in Ireland, I recommend Icon Accounting, probably Directors Umbrella structure.

      One other thought. Brexit won't impact of the ability of a British citizen to contract in Ireland via an EU Ltd*, but a No Deal may create risks for a British Ltd.

      *possibly some complexities if sole director and not resident in EEA, but a Directors Umbrella structure should manage this.
