- do you waste your time with recruiters

No
Always.
Maybe - for the last 4 years I've been lucky enough not to deal with agents as work has found me and a recommendation got me my latest gig. I'd love to say I could keep this up and the network is finally working but I'm sure I'll be speaking to the idiot recruiters at some point. Keep banging away and something will no doubt turn up.
