InTouch screwed up my VAT calculations and I didn't check them, just trusted them to get it right. They were applying the wrong flat rate VAT percentage (they only do IT contractors don't they so I'm not sure how that happened). Eventually I noticed it and pointed it out. It had been going on for something like 3 years. Everybody makes mistakes but I'm still not happy about it. Otherwise, the service is good, aside from the online splitting of transactions, which is laborious and very error prone. For example, you have a company credit card that gets settled every month from your company current account. That's one transaction that needs splitting into the constituent transactions you made using your credit card. They really need the transaction 'upload' facility to be applied to other transactions instead of you having to spit and enter them manually. If (when) you make a mistake you have to pick up the phone to have it corrected (or used to - I don't make mistakes any more as it's too much inconvenience).
