May is loving it from the backbenches.

Brexit is the poisoned chalice that knows no end. It will be the graveyard of many a politician's career.
Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down. Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.

Boris sends the request letter, Hungary vetoes the extension, we still Leave on the 31st as promised.

Boris has discharged his responsibility regarding the Benn Surrender Bill so no reason why he can't lead the Tories to a bigger majority in the post departure GE.

      Sorted.

      Job done.

      Bedwetting surges in Bremainerland.

Interestingly enough there was a high level delegation from Hungary in London yesterday who spent the whole day at the Foreign Office but it was all kept 'hush-hush'

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Another possible outcome is that Parliament accepts the WA BRINO vassalage.

Yesterday, a delegation of Hungarian officials, led by Hungary's Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó, was photographed leaving the Cabinet Office in Whitehall. Boris Johnson was holding an "Emergency" Cabinet meeting in the same building at the same time.
It is rumoured that Johnson has offered Viktor Orbán's government a package in exchange for Hungary vetoing an Article 50 extension request. This would be a way of forcing a no-deal Brexit while supposedly staying within the law made by Parliament to prevent this (the so-called Benn Act).

If true, this would mean that Johnson is colluding with a foreign power - and one that is currently ruled by a particularly unpleasant far-right and antisemitic government - in order to gain a domestic political advantage.

Exactly what Trump is now facing likely impeachment for in the US.

Precisely, the Hungarians would be shooting themselves in the foot. They could always try the Polish:

A bit of horse-trading between EU partners is hardly new. The French & Germans have been doing it since day one, and the Irish are doing it now. Several Remain MPs (along with two former PMs) have been colluding with the EU to fight against Brexit.
I doubt, in this case, that much will come of it anyway.
His heart is in the right place - shame we can't say the same about his brain...

“Colluding” when it’s Remain, “horse-trading” when it’s Brexiters.
