It isn't. What IS amusing is the pompous holier-than-thou attitude and complete over-reaction of the likes of you and Eirikur to any perceived slight.Originally posted by Old Greg View PostIn what way is the bombing of Rotterdam amusing?
You are the gift that just keeps giving.

It's not a slight to me. I'm not Dutch. I'm just surprised that someone who claims to be a military man would feel so free to mock the Dutch victims of Nazism. I would have expected better.Originally posted by shaunbhoy View PostIt isn't. There is no "claims" about it. It is an irrefutable fact.Originally posted by Old Greg View PostI'm just surprised that someone who claims to be a military man would feel so free to mock the Dutch victims of Nazism.
And it hardly constitutes "mocking the Dutch victims of Nazism". You'd appreciate that if you were not such a melodramatic drama queen. It falls neatly into the bracket of "squaddie humour". Something you'll never have experienced being a desk-jockey.

Like I could give a fook about your expectations.Originally posted by Old Greg View PostI would have expected better.
You mean aside from the hysterical outraged over-reaction of you and Eirikur you mean?Originally posted by Old Greg View PostNow, if I have the wrong end of the stick, what exactly do you find so funny about the Dutch surrender?

No. You've revealed your true colours. But there's always time for you to turn yourself around and show a bit of respect for Britain's wartime allies.Originally posted by shaunbhoy View PostThere is no "claims" about it. It is an irrefutable fact.
